The Delhi government is considering a major move to relieve the Fire Department of its NOC (No-Objection Certificate) issuing role for certain cases. 

This could lead to: 

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Certified Third Parties: Private safety agencies, certified by the state, may be tasked with handling fire safety certification and NOCs for smaller establishments like office spaces. 

💨 Ease of Doing Business: The move aims to streamline the process, reduce the administrative burden on the fire department, and promote a smoother business environment. 

🏢 Current Status: Fire NOCs are still mandatory for high-rise residential buildings, commercial establishments, factories, hospitals, and restaurants.
